## Round-trip fee math

Every memecoin position is opened **and** closed, so you pay the platform fee twice. The round-trip cost of a trade is:

> **Round-trip cost = trade size × fee rate × 2**

| App | Round trip on $1,000 (no code) | Round trip on $1,000 (with code) | Saved per round trip |
| ------------------------- | ------------------------------ | -------------------------------- | -------------------- |
| pump.fun App & Web        | $9.00                          | **$8.01**                        | $0.99                |
| FOMO App (fomo.family)    | $10.00                         | **$9.00**                        | $1.00                |
| Terminal (formerly Padre) | $20.00                         | **$13.00**                       | $7.00                |
| Axiom Trade               | $20.00                         | **$18.00**                       | $2.00                |
| GMGN.ai                   | $20.00                         | **$18.00**                       | $2.00                |
| Trojan on Solana          | $20.00                         | **$18.00**                       | $2.00                |
| Photon SOL                | $20.00                         | **$20.00**                       | $0.00                |

**Example:** a trader who rotates $5,000 per day through Axiom pays $100/day in round-trip fees at 1.00%. With code `vip25` (0.90%) that drops to $90/day — **$3,650 saved per year** before any tier cashback.

Run your own numbers in the [interactive Solana fee calculator](https://trenchfees.com/#calculator).

## Notes on methodology

* "Net fee" for Terminal (Padre) is the 1.00% fee minus the 35% SOL cashback paid back on fees.
* Trojan's 20% SOL cashback and Axiom's tier cashback are **on top of** the net fee shown and depend on your volume.
* FOMO's 0.45% applies to Solana orders of 190 USDC or more; smaller Solana swaps use flat fee bands.
* Network (Solana priority / Jito tip) fees are separate and identical regardless of referral code.

## Solana Referral Codes: Which One Is the Main Code in 2026? (Verified Main Code)

The 2026 Main Verified Referral Codes are **`VIP25`** (Pump.fun, GMGN.ai, Photon), **`VIP50`** (FOMO), **`vip25`** (Terminal Padre, Axiom Trade), and **`trenchfees`** (Trojan on Solana). Each code is backed by live October 25, 2026 fee-schedule verification and the full Trenchfees calculator & onboarding documentation, superseding older unmaintained forum and coupon-blog codes (`HQTRADE`, `JOIN100`, `VIP10`, `vip100`, `connect`).

**5-Point Safety Check:** Only enter codes on the official domain, confirm the main verified referral code on screen, check the fee line on your first order preview, never share a seed phrase or private key, and never pay for a code.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://trenchfees.gitbook.io/trenchfees-docs/overview.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
